We have more than 100 network station affiliates in the Great Lakes region and other surrounding states that are associated with services distributed by RSN Satellite Services. This makes us one of the largest regional distribution networks in the country.

Our Company
RSN Satellite Services began in 1977 as Radio Sound Network, the distribution arm of The Agri Broadcasting Network. In the mid-1980's, RSN added distribution for The Ohio State Buckeyes Sports Network, along with programming for the Cleveland Cavaliers and, later, other professional sports teams. Ohio News Network Radio was developed in the early 1990's with WBNS-TV and WBNS-AM/FM. In 1995, RSN became part of the RadiOhio family, which includes WBNS-FM, WBNS-AM, The Ohio News Network Radio, and The Ohio State IMG Sports Network. Since then, RSN Satellite Services has continued to grow and enhance client and affiliate relationships. As long as the Cavs, Buckeyes, Ohio Bobcats, and Columbus Blue Jackets have been distributed via satellite, RSN Satellite Services has delivered their programming.
RSN Satellite Services works closely with all entities of the Dispatch Broadcast Group, a division of the Dispatch Printing Company. Our broadcasting heritage has all aspects covered with satellite, radio, television, cable and more.

- RSN Satellite Services has a fully redundant C-band uplink transmission site in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, we have the means to backup programming transmission, equipment, and production facilities if necessary. We are prepared and ready for anything.
